Start your sightseeing excursion by meeting your guide and climbing into your private vehicle. Your first stop will be Kathmandu Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where you will walk among centuries-old royal palaces, intricate carvings on countless temples, and traditional courtyard-style buildings indicative of the venerable history of ancient Kathmandu.
Your next destination on your journey is Swayambhunath, commonly referred to as the Monkey Temple. Swayambhunath is a sacred stupa located atop a hill that contains both Buddhist and Hindu cultural influences, and provides fabulous views of the Kathmandu Valley and the distant peaks of the Himalayas.
The next stop on your tour is Pashupatinath Temple, one of the premier Hindu pilgrimage destinations in Southeast Asia. Pashupatinath Temple is built on the banks of the Bagmati River, where you will get a glimpse of the open-air cremation ceremonies and experience the spiritual practices surrounding the temple complex.
The last stop of the day is the incredible Boudhanath Stupa (another UNESCO World Heritage Site), which is one of the largest stupas in the world. The stupa dates back to approximately 600 A.D. and represents the center of Tibetan Buddhist culture, surrounded by local life, monasteries, and prayer wheels.

After having breakfast, you will be picked up from the hotel and taken to Patan Durbar Square. In this area, you will visit the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of the Krishna Temple and Patan Durbar Square and learn about the history of the ancient city and the period of the kings by visiting the Patan Museum. Then, you will proceed to the Golden Temple, which is very sacred to the Hindus and Buddhists, and then move on to the Banglamukhi Temple.
After you visit Patan, you will proceed to Bhaktapur, which was the ancient capital of the Greater Malla Empire until the 15th century. Bhaktapur is famous for its rich artistic traditions, which are manifested in its temples, monuments, and architecture. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Bhaktapur is maintained by the Archaeological Department of Nepal and Bhaktapur Municipality. It is said to be one of the oldest and culturally well-preserved regions of Nepal. Bhaktapur Durbar Square, which was once home to the royal families, has four different squares: Taumadhi Square, Durbar Square, Pottery Square, and Dattatreya Square, all of which are home to distinct artistic as well as cultural splendor.
As you proceed with exploring the city, you will be able to witness many historical as well as religious monuments such as Nyatapola Temple, Bhairavnath Temple, King Bhupatindra Malla Statue, Peacock Window, Golden Gate, fifty-five-windowed palace, bell known as Taleju bell, Dattatreya Temple, Vatsala Temple, as well as Chyasalin Mandap. These exemplary monuments symbolize excellence in woodcarvings and ancient craftsmanship in Bhaktapur.
After discovering Bhaktapur, you will proceed to Changunarayan Temple, which is Nepal’s oldest Hindu temple, featuring among the country’s most important Vishnu-Narayan temples. This holy place is home to a vast number of pilgrims, particularly those who visit it during Harishayani Ekadashi, which takes place in July, as well as Haribodhini Ekadashi, which is celebrated in November, as commemorative festivals of Lord Vishnu’s four months of deep sleep. The temple is designed as a two-tiered pagoda, featuring a roof of gilded copper, which is crowned by a pinnacle, together with beautifully carved doors, one from each of its four entrances, called torans.
Inside the courtyard, you will see the pillars engraved with the four signs of Lord Vishnu in the form of the Sankha (conch shell), Chakra (discus), Gadaa (mace), and the Padma (lotus). The temple campus consists of shrines of various goddesses, besides which lies the marvelous statue of the Garuda installed in the 5th-century Lichchhavi era. This temple has recently been included in the list of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites and lies under the protection of the Archaeological Department of Nepal and the Changunarayan Municipality. This place remains renowned for its exquisite carvings and possession of immense religious significance.
