Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)

Welcome! To Kathmandu, Nepal. You will be welcomed by an Asian Heritage Travel representative with a nameplate upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, and you will then be taken to your hotel located within the busy tourist district known as Thamel in Kathmandu. You will see some of the highlights of the city while traveling to the hotel, including Pashupatinath Temple, Narayanhiti Royal Palace Museum, and the peaceful Garden of Dreams. Once you arrive at your hotel, a representative will meet you to discuss your itinerary and answer any questions you might have about it. After you check into your hotel, the rest of the day is yours to explore the busy streets, cafés, and shops of Thamel or relax at your hotel.

Includes: Private transport and an overnight accommodation at Yatri Suites and Spa or a similar hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 2Trishuli rafting & drive to Pokhara

We’ll begin our Live the Thrill experience by moving out of Kathmandu and into the region of Trishuli, which has a reputation for having the best white-water rafting action that’s simply thrilling. The river has Class III rapids with a diverse range of ups and downs, including thrilling turns and challenging chutes that provide a wonderful backdrop of natural settings as you raft along.

Trishuli River Rafting also gives an exclusive opportunity to witness the variety of surrounding sceneries on the banks of the Trishuli River. After this exciting experience, the trip proceeds towards Pokhara, a serene lakeside city of Nepal, by road.

Includes: Breakfast, Private Transport, Rafting fare, and an overnight accommodation at Pokhara Village Resort or a similar hotel in Pokhara.

Day 3Pokhara sightseeing

Your guide will pick you up and take a drive to Pokhara. Pokhara is known for its natural scenery. The reason why visitors love this place is the essence of watching the breathtaking Himalayas in Fewa Lake, besides enjoying the cool environment.

The Pokhara Valley is famous for taking you through close-range shots of snow-capped mountain ranges with the calmness of Fewa Lake and majestic Machhapuchhre, along with the Five Peaks of the Annapurna ranges, combining to take you through an experience of magic and peace. Devi’s Falls is also located just a few minutes away, with an element of mystique to bring to your experience.

In the morning, our first destination will be the Bindabasini Temple. The rest of the day will be spent sightseeing at Begnas Tal, Devi’s Waterfall, International Mountain Museum, and Gupteshwor Mahadev, which are prominent attractions representing the natural as well as cultural aspects of Pokhara.

Includes: Breakfast, Private Transport, Rafting fare, and an overnight accommodation at Pokhara Village Resort or a similar hotel in Pokhara.

Day 4Paragliding, Boating in Phewa Lake & Visit World Peace Stupa

Today, we will start our early morning car journey to Sarangkot, a beautiful spot with a great paragliding location in Nepal. When in Saraknath, one can fly above and through the beautiful Himalayas with vultures, eagles, and kites, and even villages, monasteries, temples, and forests.

There are no prerequisites for paragliding because you will be given a complete briefing by experienced pilots throughout your paragliding experience. The paragliding harness is not only safe but also comfort-oriented, which enables you to take photographs and experience the sensation of flying like a bird. Paragliding in Nepal operates on a seasonal basis. The primary paragliding season in Nepal is from November to February. The peak season to paraglide in Nepal is in November and December. There are several paragliding options based on the level of adventure you seek: Tandem flight, cloud flight, cross valley flight, and acrobatic flights that take about 30 minutes, landing near Phewa Lake.

Following the paragliding experience, we will then engage in a boat ride in Phewa Lake before proceeding to the Peace Stupa for a breathtaking view of the entire region of Pokhara.

Includes: Breakfast, Private Transport, Rafting fare, and an overnight accommodation at Pokhara Village Resort or a similar hotel in Pokhara.

The spot where we are doing the bungee jumping is Hemja, with 75 meters of vertical fall directly in front of the beautiful sight of the Himalayan mountains. Travel Insurance

Nepal has a lot to offer with its incredible natural beauty, rich culture, and warm hospitality. Travelling can also come with risks, which is why anyone visiting Nepal needs to consider purchasing travel insurance, particularly those involved in adventure activities or trekking, as well as those who will be travelling to remote areas of Nepal. A well-rounded insurance policy can provide peace of mind through protection against the following:

  • Emergency medical care
  • Trip cancellations/delays
  • Lost or damaged baggage
  • Altitude sickness from high elevations
  • Emergency rescue/evacuation by helicopter

Many trekking routes in Nepal are over 3000 meters (9842 ft); therefore, your policy should specifically state that high altitude travel is part of your Insurance plan, as well as the option to be evacuated in the event of an emergency. Choosing the right policy will help you receive the best possible care in your time of need.

Trekking Gears

For hikers traveling to the Nepalese Himalayas, it’s essential to have the correct trekking equipment. Depending on what elevation you’re at, the weather might change drastically, so it’s crucial to use and carry the proper clothing and equipment in order to enjoy a safe and comfortable trip.

If you don’t want to travel with your own equipment, there are plenty of places in Nepal where you can rent or purchase what you need (particularly in Thamel, Kathmandu’s main shopping district). There are also locations within the city where you can find stores that offer a variety of high-quality trekking apparel and equipment at very reasonable prices.
