As the first light appears, enjoy breathtaking views of Baruntse, Chamlang, Nau Lekh, and even Mount Everest. After reaching the summit, you will descend back to base camp, depending on weather and route conditions. Our experienced team ensures flexibility and support, aiming for success for all who have prepared diligently for this remarkable achievement.

The ascent from Hinku to the pass may seem straightforward, but it presents its own challenges. The eastern and southern slopes are rocky and exposed to the sun, while the northern side features steep snow-covered sections.

Proceeding with caution, you will use fixed ropes as you descend toward the snow lakes and moraine valleys below. From the pass, you are rewarded with stunning panoramic views of the Khumbu peaks. Take time during both the ascent and descent to appreciate the breathtaking scenery of this remarkable region.

Travel Insurance

Nepal has a lot to offer with its incredible natural beauty, rich culture, and warm hospitality. Travelling can also come with risks, which is why anyone visiting Nepal needs to consider purchasing travel insurance, particularly those involved in adventure activities or trekking, as well as those who will be travelling to remote areas of Nepal. A well-rounded insurance policy can provide peace of mind through protection against the following:

  • Emergency medical care
  • Trip cancellations/delays
  • Lost or damaged baggage
  • Altitude sickness from high elevations
  • Emergency rescue/evacuation by helicopter

Many trekking routes in Nepal are over 3000 meters (9842 ft); therefore, your policy should specifically state that high altitude travel is part of your Insurance plan, as well as the option to be evacuated in the event of an emergency. Choosing the right policy will help you receive the best possible care in your time of need.
