The Mohare Danda Trek takes you through a serene and virgin trail in the foot of the Annapurna Range. The trail is one of the recently discovered trekking routes that promote sustainable eco-tourism. The main purpose of this trek is to allow tourists the privilege of making a positive impact on the lives of the indigenous people living in the Himalayas. This trek is also known as the Eco-Community Lodge Trek and is best suited for those interested in nature and culture who have a desire to experience virgin nature in Nepal. This trekking trail gives some of the finest and closest views of the Annapurna Ranges and Dhaulagiri.
Mohare Hill Station, located at an altitude of 3,300 meters, is known for the mesmerizing sunrises and sunsets of snow-capped mountains shimmering in the light. Poon Hill, a popular spot, also features in the journey, showcasing the breathtaking Himalayas.
As one ventures into this unconventional trek, one gets a chance to experience the true Annapurna—rolling hills, majestic mountains, rivers, and forests saturated with oak, bamboo, and pine trees. A trek into Mohare Danda is so much more than a trek; it is an odyssey in itself.
